Vacancies at Belper North Mill Trust

We have vacancies for Trustees and specifically the Treasurer role.

Trustee Vacancies

We are looking for new trustees who add value to what we do, who share the ambitions of the Trust and who are prepared to get involved with new protects and income generation initiatives to help us achieve our ambitions.

This is a critical and challenging time for the Trust as we work to help to secure a sustainable future for the North Mill and the Belper Mills site (currently the subject of a planning application for redevelopment) and examine how an enhanced, sustainable visitor attraction can be developed, within the proposed regeneration plans, for the benefit of the public, the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, our town and the wider community.

Trustees should be able to demonstrate achievements in their chosen career or in the voluntary sector, and illustrate how they can they use their skills for the Trust’s benefit. We value enthusiasm, energy, clear thinking, commitment, and communication skills. We welcome new trustees who are willing to take a leading role in delivering initiatives.

Our current skills needs are in: finance, marketing, income generation, cultural and heritage tourism, and company and charity law.

Trustees are appointed for a three-year term and may be re-appointed. For further information about the Trust and its current work e-mail companysecretary@belpernorthmill.org.uk
